The book jacket had this to say about this mind-awakening
book:
"After being struck and killed by a vehicle on his
way home one night, Michael, a dynamic young husband and new father of
a two-month-old daughter found himself 'alive' and able to communicate
with his psychic father-in-law, Robert Murray."
"Hours after his death he was able to vividly describe
emotions, experiences, places, 'people' and animals in the afterlife. He
desperately reached out to his wife, family and friends as his father-in-law
wrote what Michael told him. The messages continued over a period of day,
months and then years. They formed a diary that became the story of Michael's
afterlife journey.
His wife, Lynn, decided to share these comforting personal
messages that contained information and insights too important to be kept
secret. Michael's messages are revealed in "The Stars Still Shine."
After reading the book, I was totally convinced that we
may be able to communicate with people who have passed over into another
dimension. The foreword by Richard D. Wright, co-author of "The Divining
Mind" and "The Divining Heart" said, "Although the
experiences in this account are possibly unique to Michael, they provide
not only affirmation for the existence of personal continuation after death
but clues about the directions this continuation may take."
Robert Murray, the author, is a psychic, a person who
can read other people's thoughts. Perhaps that is the strongest reason
why when on June 8th, 1997, at 3:34 AM, when Michael was struck and killed
by a van as he walked home, Bob asked himself why he couldn't have foreseen
this accident as he had for so many others before Michael. But it was all
in the cards, as they say, and Bob became his voice here on earth.
As I read each page, I found myself fascinated by the
conversation, first with Michael and Bob and then with Molly, Michael's
aunt who predeceased him. She helps him adjust to Michael's new surroundings, reporting
to Bob about Michael's activities. Michael even had a "double,"
met Princess Diana and Elvis, his favorite pre-death celebrity.
By the time I finished the book, I felt I knew the entire
family. It is like a dream, except I'm sure every time Lynn, his widow,
wants to feel his touch, she knows the reality of death. If you have ever
wondered about the afterlife, this book is a MUST read!
